Crockpot Chicken & Stuffing

  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can of cream of chicken soup.
  • 1 (6 oz) box of stuffing mix.
  • 8 oz sour cream (equivalent to 1 cup).
  • ¾ cup of water.
  • 1 (16 oz) bag of frozen green beans.
  • 3-4 large salted and peppered chicken breasts.

  1. Prepare the Crockpot:
    • Place the salted and peppered chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Prepare the Stuffing Mix:
    • In a bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, stuffing mix, and half of the water. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  3. Layer Over Chicken:
    • Pour the soup-sour cream-stuffing mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Add Green Beans:
    • Place the frozen green beans over the chicken and stuffing in the crockpot. Add the remaining water.
  5. Cooking:
    • Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6 to 7 hours. Ensure that the chicken is cooked through and the stuffing is moist.
  6. Mixing Periodically:
    • If possible, mix the stuffing periodically during the cooking process. This helps to ensure even cooking and distribution of flavors. If you prefer the green beans to remain separate from the stuffing, place them more to the side.
  7. Serve:
    • Once cooked, serve your delicious Crockpot Chicken & Stuffing hot.

  • Feel free to adjust the seasoning and thickness of the stuffing according to your preference.
  • Mixing the stuffing periodically enhances its texture and taste.
  • Enjoy this easy and hearty crockpot meal!
