Description
This White Christmas Fudge is a festive and delicious treat that’s perfect for the holiday season. It’s creamy, sweet, and studded with red and green candied cherries for a festive touch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup red candied cherries
- 1/2 cup green candied cherries
- 11 oz white chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Prep: Chop the red and green cherries into small pieces. Line and lightly butter an 8×8 inch pan with foil, leaving enough overhang to use as handles later.
- Melt Chocolate: Melt white chocolate chips in a double boiler with the condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt over medium-low heat. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Stir in Cherries: Remove from heat. Stir in the cherries until evenly distributed.
- Chill: Pour into the foil-lined pan and spread evenly. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 ½ hours.
- Cut and Serve: Remove from the pan by lifting with the foil handles. Cut into 1-inch pieces.
Notes
- Double Boiler: If you don’t have a double boiler, you can create one by placing a heat-safe bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Make sure the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water.
- Chilling: Chilling the fudge is essential for it to set properly.
- Storage: Store leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
