Description

These luscious White Chocolate Truffles are creamy, decadent, and easy to make with just a few ingredients. Perfect for gifting or enjoying as a sweet treat, they combine smooth white chocolate with rich cream and vanilla, then coated with melted white chocolate and your favorite toppings for a delightful bite-sized indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups White chocolate chips
  • ΒΌ cup Heavy cream or Condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Toppings/Decoration

  • 2 cups White chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup Toppings (chopped nuts, candies, sprinkles, powdered sugar, shredded coconut, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips, heavy cream or condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Heat the mixture in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring well after each interval to ensure the chocolate melts evenly and does not burn.
  2. Chill the mixture: Once fully melted and smooth, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours until the mixture is firm enough to handle and shape.
  3. Shape the truffles: Scoop out small portions of the chilled mixture using a spoon or melon baller and roll them into smooth balls between your palms.
  4. Coat the truffles: Dip each ball into the melted white chocolate to fully coat it. Before the coating sets, sprinkle or dip the truffles in your choice of toppings such as nuts, sprinkles, or shredded coconut.
  5. Set the truffles: Place the coated truffles on a cookie tray lined with wax paper and allow the white chocolate coating to fully harden at room temperature or in the fridge.
  6. Optional decoration: Once set, drizzle additional melted white chocolate over the top of the truffles for an elegant finish. Let this final drizzle firm up before serving.
  7. Serve and store: Enjoy immediately or store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • Be careful not to overheat the chocolate to prevent burning; always stir well after each heating interval.
  • Use either heavy cream or condensed milk based on your preferred sweetness and richness.
  • Refrigerate the truffle mixture until firm to make shaping easier and cleaner.
  • Customize toppings to your liking for flavor and texture variation.
  • Store finished truffles in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days to maintain freshness.
