Description

Make a tasty and cool drink with our Strawberry Acai Refresher Recipe. Great for warm days, it’s a fruity mix everyone will love!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 cups white grape juice
  • 2 cups strawberries (sliced and hulled)
  • 2 teaspoons acai powder
  • 1 teaspoon green coffee extract powder
  • 1 teaspoon passion fruit powder
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Instructions

Making the Base:

  1. In a saucepan, combine white grape juice, sugar, and hulled and sliced strawberries.
  2. Heat the syrup and simmer for 10 minutes, then set aside and let the strawberry flavor steep into the syrup for an additional 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the syrup, removing the strawberry pieces from the syrup. Return the syrup to the saucepan.
  4. Return the syrup to low heat and add the acai powder, green coffee extract, passion fruit powder, and lemon juice.
  5. Whisk them together until fully blended.
  6. Decant the syrup into a mason jar and refrigerate until ready to use.

Mixing the Drink:

  1. In a shaker, combine some freeze-dried strawberries (set aside a few to use as a topper at the end), about half a cup of the base, and half a cup of water with ice.
  2. Shake the drink until it is fully mixed and pour it over ice.
  3. Garnish with a few more pieces of freeze-dried strawberry on top.

Notes

  • Freeze-dried strawberries add intense flavor; you can also try other freeze-dried fruits.
  • Adjust sweetness by using lemonade instead of water for a sweeter drink.
  • Make a Pink Drink by using sweetened coconut milk instead of water.
  • To go caffeine-free, omit green coffee extract. Enjoy your homemade refreshing beverage!
