Description

  • 2 packets chicken gravy mix
  • 1 1/4 cup condensed chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 3 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken:
    Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt on both sides.
  2. Prepare the Gravy Mixture:
    In your slow cooker, whisk together the water, gravy packets, condensed chicken soup, garlic powder, salt, paprika, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  3. Coat the Chicken:
    Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the slow cooker. Flip them on both sides to coat them well with the gravy mixture.
  4. Slow Cook the Chicken:
    Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  5. Finish the Gravy:
    When the chicken is done, carefully remove the breasts from the slow cooker. Shred or cut the chicken as desired. Whisk the sour cream into the gravy mixture in the slow cooker until it’s smooth and creamy.
