Description

These Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sliders are the ultimate way to start your day with a delicious and satisfying meal. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even as a hearty snack, these sliders are a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Sliders:

  • 24 ounces ground pork sausage, 2 breakfast sausage rolls, like Jimmy Dean
  • 12 Hawaiian buns, or other slider buns
  • 8 large eggs, scrambled
  • 6 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 8 slices American cheese

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF. Warm large skillet over medium heat. Form sausage into 12 patties, slightly larger than one dinner roll. Cook until completely cooked through.
  2. Cut rolls in half lengthwise; place bottom halves in a baking dish. Top with scrambled eggs, pepper jack, sausage, and American cheese. Place top buns on each slider.
  3. Mix melted butter and maple syrup; brush over sliders. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve and enjoy!
  4. For tailgating: Use a disposable foil pan or wrap sliders individually in foil to keep warm. Sliders can be prepared a day ahead and baked before serving.
