- 1 (12 oz) bag Milk Chocolate Chips
Pretzel Layer
- 8 oz Pretzels (half of a 16 oz bag)
Caramel Drizzle
- 1 (11 oz) bag Kraft Caramels, unwrapped
- 2 tbsp Heavy Cream
Instructions
- Prepare baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. This will be the base on which you assemble the bark and prevent sticking.
- Melt chocolate: Place the milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each until fully melted and smooth.
- Spread chocolate: Spread about two-thirds of the melted chocolate evenly over the prepared parchment paper-lined baking sheet to create a thin base layer.
- Add pretzels: Lay the pretzels evenly on top of the melted chocolate and gently press them down to embed slightly into the chocolate layer.
- Melt caramel: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the unwrapped caramels with heavy cream and microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring halfway through, until smooth and pourable.
- Drizzle caramel: Evenly drizzle the melted caramel over the pretzels, covering them generously.
- Top with remaining chocolate: Drizzle the remaining melted chocolate over the caramel and pretzel layer to add a beautiful finish and extra flavor.
- Chill to set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the bark is firm and set completely.
- Break into pieces: Once set, break or cut the bark into pieces of your desired size and serve or store in an airtight container.
