Ingredients

  • 23 Oreos
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Crush 2-3 Oreos into small pieces using a fork or a food processor. If using a fork, place the cookies in a microwave-safe mug and mash until they become small crumbs (about 1 minute).

  2. Pour in 1/4 cup of milk and stir until the mixture is smooth. You can add 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips or other toppings if desired.

  3. Add 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder and mix it in thoroughly.

  4. Place the mug into the microwave and cook on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Keep an eye on it to prevent overcooking. The cake is done when it has risen and is firm to the touch.

  5. Once cooked, allow the cake to cool for a minute or two.

  6. Optionally, add a dollop of whipped cream or a drizzle of chocolate syrup on top.

  7. Serve the Oreo mug cake hot and enjoy!
