Description

These No-Bake Peppermint Oreo Balls are a delicious and festive treat that’s perfect for the holiday season. They’re easy to make with just a few simple ingredients and are sure to be a hit with everyone.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 36 Oreos
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 16 ounces white chocolate melting wafers
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 48 crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Make Oreo Balls: Place the cream cheese and Oreos in a food processor and process until combined. Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll into 48 (1-inch) balls. Place the balls on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 20 minutes, or until hardened.
  2. Melt Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate with peppermint extract in the microwave at 30-second increments, stirring between each one.
  3. Coat and Decorate: Once melted, dip each ball in the chocolate with a fork, scraping the bottom. Roll in crushed peppermint candies and place the ball back on the parchment paper.
  4. Chill and Serve: Let the chocolate set completely before serving.

Notes

  • Chocolate: You can use any type of melting chocolate you like, but white chocolate is recommended for this recipe.
  • Peppermint Extract: Adjust the amount of peppermint extract to your liking.
  • Freezing: Freezing the Oreo balls helps them to firm up and makes them easier to dip in the chocolate.
  • Storage: Store the Oreo balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
