- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 1 cup chopped pepperoni
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp Italian seasoning, divided
- 1 (26-oz) jar tomato basil pasta sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 (13.8-oz) can refrigerated pizza crust dough
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat and prep: Preheat oven to 425º F. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray.
- Brown the meats: In a large skillet, cook ground beef and sausage over medium-high heat until no longer pink. Drain well and return to skillet.
- Make the sauce: Add pepperoni, flour, and 3 tsp Italian seasoning to the skillet, stirring until blended. Stir in pasta sauce. Bring mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Remove from heat and spoon mixture into prepared pan. Sprinkle with 1½ cups mozzarella cheese.
- Add the crust: Unroll pizza crust and place on top of mozzarella cheese. Brush crust with olive oil and sprinkle with the remaining teaspoon of Italian seasoning, ½ cup mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese.
- Bake: Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.

- You can use different types of meat, such as Italian sausage, ground turkey, or ham.
- Feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings, such as mushrooms, onions, or olives.
- If you don’t have refrigerated pizza crust dough, you can use a homemade pizza dough recipe.
