Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients
- 12 fresh strawberries
- 1 banana
- ¼ cup ricotta cheese (or alternative: cottage cheese, cream cheese, coconut yoghurt)
Instructions
- Prepare Strawberries: Remove the leafy top from each strawberry. Then slice off a thin section from the top of the strawberry to create the Santa hat brim.
- Slice Banana: Cut a round disc slice from the banana which will become the base of Santa’s face.
- Spread Cheese: Evenly spread a thick layer of ricotta (or your chosen creamy cheese) on one side of the banana slice; this will act as Santa’s beard.
- Assemble Face: Place the banana slice, cheese side down, onto the sliced strawberry brim on your serving plate to form the face.
- Create Eyes: Using a black gel icing pen, draw two small dots on the exposed edge of the banana slice to mimic eyes.
- Add Hat Top: Place the remaining larger part of the strawberry on top of the banana slice to complete Santa’s hat.
- Repeat: Repeat the assembly to make as many Santa treats as desired.
Notes
- Use a black gel icing pen for drawing the eyes for best results.
- You can substitute ricotta cheese with cottage cheese, cream cheese, or even coconut yoghurt depending on your preference or dietary needs.
- This is a no-cook recipe, quick and perfect for healthy festive snacks.
