Description

Shortcut Mocha Punch is a quick and easy beverage combining mocha flavored iced coffee with sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for a creamy, indulgent treat. Perfect for serving at parties or any gathering, this punch can be garnished with grated chocolate or cocoa powder to enhance its rich mocha flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 (64 ounce) carton mocha flavored iced coffee (about 8 cups)
  • 1 ½ cups sweetened whipped cream (such as Cool Whip, Reddi Whip) or vanilla ice cream

Optional Garnish

  • Hershey’s chocolate bar, grated
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Pour the mocha iced coffee: Slowly pour the mocha flavored iced coffee into a punch bowl or a very large glass serving bowl to create the base of your punch.
  2. Add the whipped cream or ice cream: Just before serving, dollop sweetened whipped cream or scoop vanilla ice cream on top of the mocha iced coffee in the punch bowl, adding a creamy richness to the drink.
  3. Garnish the punch: To enhance the presentation and flavor, grate a Hershey’s chocolate bar over the punch using a vegetable peeler or cheese grater. Alternatively, sprinkle cocoa powder through a fine mesh sieve for a delicate finish.

Notes

  • To make your own mocha iced coffee, combine 4 cups strong brewed coffee (chilled), 4 cups 2% or whole milk or half-and-half/light cream, and ⅓ cup chocolate syrup. Serve over ice cubes for an easy homemade version.
  • This punch is best served immediately after adding whipped cream or ice cream to prevent melting and maintain texture.
  • For a dairy-free option, substitute whipped cream with coconut whipped topping and use a dairy-free vanilla ice cream.
