			Meatloaf
- 2 lbs ground beef (80-85% lean)
 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
 - 2 large eggs
 - 3/4 cup milk
 - 3/4 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Panko)
 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1/4 cup ketchup
 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
 - 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
 - 1 1/2 tsp salt
 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
 - 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Meatloaf Glaze
- 1/2 cup ketchup
 - 2 tbsp brown sugar
 - 1 tsp white vinegar
 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
 - 1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line a baking sheet with foil to prepare for baking the meatloaf.
 - Prepare Meatloaf Mixture: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped onion, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, ketchup, fresh parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix everything until well combined, being careful not to overmix to keep the meatloaf tender.
 - Shape and Place: Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it in the prepared loaf pan or on the baking sheet.
 - Apply Glaze – First Coat: In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, white vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder to make the glaze. Brush half of this glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
 - Bake and Glaze Again: Bake the meatloaf for 45 minutes in the preheated oven. Then brush the remaining glaze over the top and continue baking for an additional 15-30 minutes until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
 - Rest and Serve: Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring moist slices. Slice and serve warm. Enjoy your classic homemade meatloaf!

Notes
- Do not overmix the meat mixture to avoid a dense meatloaf.
 - Letting the meatloaf rest before slicing helps retain moisture.
 - Use a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 160°F for safe consumption.
 - Panko breadcrumbs can give the meatloaf a lighter texture compared to regular breadcrumbs.
 - Make sure to evenly apply the glaze for a flavorful crust.
