Scale
Ingredients
- 400g / 14oz milk or dark chocolate
- 275g / 2 cups salted peanuts
Instructions
- Melt the Chocolate: Melt the chocolate in a large bowl or jug using either a microwave in short bursts, stirring frequently, or over a pan of hot water on the stovetop, ensuring the chocolate doesn’t burn.
- Mix in Peanuts: Once fully melted, stir in the salted peanuts thoroughly until all peanuts are evenly coated with chocolate.
- Prepare Clusters: Line two trays or plates with parchment paper. Spoon dollops of the chocolate-peanut mixture onto the parchment and gently press down with the back of a spoon to shape clusters.
- Repeat: Continue spooning and pressing until all of the mixture is used. You should have around 25 clusters, depending on the size you make them.
- Chill: Refrigerate the trays for 30 minutes or until the clusters are fully solidified and set.
- Serve or Package: Once set, enjoy the clusters immediately or package them in airtight containers or gift wrap for later use.
Notes
- Store these clusters in the fridge to prevent the chocolate from melting.
- Use salted peanuts for a balanced sweet and salty flavor; unsalted peanuts can be used if preferred, but add a pinch of salt if desired.
- Milk or dark chocolate can be substituted based on taste preference.
- Chilling time may vary slightly depending on refrigerator temperature.
