- Melt and mix: Using a double boiler, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and Kahlua. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and fully blended.
- Chill the mixture: Transfer the truffle mixture into a bowl and refrigerate for 3 hours to allow it to firm up for easy scooping.
- Form truffles: Using a small ice cream scooper or spoon, scoop out portions of the chilled mixture and roll each into a smooth ball with your hands.
- Coat with sprinkles: Pour the Christmas nonpareils into a separate bowl and roll each truffle ball in the sprinkles until fully coated for a festive look and added texture.
- Set truffles: Place the coated truffles onto a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Repeat the process with remaining truffle mixture.
