Description

Cheeseburger Quesadillas are a delicious twist on a classic cheeseburger, combining all the flavors you love in a quesadilla format. These cheesy, beefy quesadillas are served with a special sauce and a refreshing wedge salad for a complete meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the special sauce:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

For the quesadillas:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 (8-inch) flour tortillas
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 24 dill pickle chips (optional)

For the wedge salads:

  • 1 head Iceberg lettuce, cored and cut into 4 wedges
  • 8 cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. To make the special sauce: In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, pickle juice, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. To make the quesadillas: Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned and cooked through. Drain well. Add tortillas to a skillet, top with cheese, beef, and pickles. Fold in half and cook until golden brown. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  3. To make the wedge salads: Place one wedge of Iceberg on each plate and top with shallots and tomatoes. Drizzle with sauce. Serve with extra sauce on the side if desired.

Notes

  • You can customize these quesadillas with your favorite cheese or toppings.
  • Feel free to adjust the seasoning of the special sauce to suit your taste.
  • For a lighter version, you can use ground turkey instead of beef.
