Scale
Ingredients
- 5 limes
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 4 cups water
- Ice, as needed
Instructions
- Prepare the limes: Slice 4 of the limes into 8 wedges each. These lime wedges will be used to infuse the lemonade with bright and zesty flavors.
- Blend the ingredients: Add the sliced limes, 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk, and 4 cups of water to a blender. Blend for no more than 15 seconds to avoid bitterness from the lime rinds.
- Strain the juice: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher filled with ice. This step removes lime pulp and seeds, leaving a smooth, refreshing drink.
- Add extra lime flavor: Slice the remaining lime in half and squeeze the juice directly into the pitcher for an added burst of lime essence.
- Serve and enjoy: Stir the lemonade well and serve immediately. Cheers! Or as we say in Portuguese, Saúde!!
Notes
- You can adjust sweetness by adding more condensed milk or a little sugar if desired.
- If the lime flavor seems too strong, add a little extra water, keeping in mind the ice will dilute the drink as it melts.
