Description

Discover our easy Boiling Crab Sauce Recipe. Perfect for seafood lovers, this guide helps you make a tasty dip in no time.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup unsalted butter

2 heads garlic (minced)

2 tablespoons old bay seasoning

1 ½ tablespoons paprika

1 ½ tablespoons Cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons Louisiana hot sauce

½ cup fresh lemon juice

1 ½ tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon oregano

1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon lemon pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the old bay seasoning, paprika, Cajun seasoning, Louisiana hot sauce, fresh lemon juice, sugar, oregano, cayenne pepper, chili powder, and lemon pepper to the pot. Mix well.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning to your preference.
  6. Once the sauce is done, it can be used immediately or stored in the refrigerator for later use.

Notes

Make sure to use unsalted butter so that you can control the amount of salt in the sauce. Using fresh garlic will always offer the best flavor, so it is recommended to avoid using garlic in a jar.
