Description

This Biscuits and Gravy Casserole is a hearty and satisfying breakfast casserole that’s perfect for feeding a crowd. It features fluffy biscuits baked in a creamy egg mixture and topped with sausage gravy and melted cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 7 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt (optional)
  • 12 teaspoons hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 can Grands biscuits
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat and prep: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Make gravy: Prepare sausage gravy according to your preferred recipe.
  3. Whisk eggs: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, seasoned salt (if using), and hot sauce (if using).
  4. Cut biscuits: Cut each biscuit into six pieces.
  5. Layer ingredients: Place biscuit pieces in an even layer in the prepared baking dish. Pour egg mixture over the biscuits. Sprinkle with half of the cheese. Pour sausage gravy over the top.
  6. Bake: Bake for 30-40 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and bake for 5-10 more minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
